Emotional Intelligence & The EQ Profile
Reacting or Responding - there is a significant difference
What happens inside you the moment you interact with others and are emotionally affected? Do you feel frustrated, annoyed, sad, or something else entirely?
Maybe you hold back, lacking the right words, or you respond, and the conversation just escalates. Regrets afterwards. Or thoughts that ruminate long after the fact.
In that moment, do you lack words or a way to respond that supports you and your relationships?
Your behaviours take an offset in emotional reactions that you’re unconscious of. You simply do what you always do – your autopilot kicks in and you react.
Understanding why we get emotionally triggered is one thing. Providing ourselves with alternatives in those moments is a completely different ball game. There is a way to understand why that happens.
I am certified in the only profile that measures your EQ capacity in real time. The EQ profile, also known as the WE-I profile, reveals your autopilot. It measures, and gives language to, your inner experience in that stress-inducing moment while interacting with others.
"Empathy builds on self-awareness; the more open we are to our own emotions, the more skilled we will be in reading feelings."
- Quote from the book 'Emotional Intelligence: Why It Can Matter More Than IQ' written by Daniel Goleman
What difference will the EQ profile make in your life?
You will understand your unconscious reactions and be better to:
- make more informed decisions under pressure
- handle anxiety-filled situations with more clarity
- overcome fear with rational and calmer engagement
- express yourself and your emotions with honesty and authenticity
- manage your frustration and irritation
All of this will improve your relationships and interactions with your colleagues, your family and your partner or spouse, and make it easier to just be your authentic self!
The EQ profile is the only profile in the world that measures your EQ in real time - meaning while you are being triggered. The profile is a valuable companion to Insights Discovery and DISC profiles, among others.

Eight videos place you in different stressful situations where you encounter various individuals. These videos activate your emotional autopilot. After each video, you select statements that match your experience.
From these experiences, an eighteen-page profile report is generated, which forms the basis for a debriefing session with me. -
- What basic emotions reflect your autopilot? Is it anger, anxiety, fear, love, joy, shame or sadness?
- How accessible is your empathy when you're under pressure? Can you feel what’s really being felt on the other side of the table?
- Are you optimistic when you’re stressed and only see opportunities, or are you focusing on the risks? Both can serve a purpose or destroy creativity and collaboration.
- Which collaboration strategy do you choose? When do you throw in the towel or do you keep striving for collaboration at the cost of your energy levels?- Who do you focus on when you are triggered? Where do you direct your attention?
I wish I had discovered this profile earlier in my life. I know it could have saved me a lot of pain and frustration. The wisdom I gained from working with my profile would have made it easier to navigate my professional relationships. And most importantly, with those I love, and loved, the most.
